We guarantee our perennials through the first growing season. Trees and shrubs are guaranteed for one year from date of purchase.

At Funkie Gardens, we are dedicated to providing healthy, well-rooted, and true to name plants.

Proper watering practices and winter covering are crucial in the adaptability and success of any newly purchased perennial.

Circumstances out of human control, such as mother nature, are not covered in this guarantee.

If measures have been taken to ensure proper care and your perennial should fail to live out its growing season after time of purchase, simply return the plant with its receipt and we will replace it with a duplicate.

Dodecatheon m. ‘Aphrodite’ - Shooting Star

A wonderfully adaptable hybrid selection of a native North American wildflower, this dodecatheon thrives in moist, boggy surroundings but will also do well in a woodland garden or a rich border. Bearing lovely pastel purple-pink flowers with yellow centers atop upright stems, the blooms of this variety are easily twice the size of other selections, with flared petals that give each blossom a star-like appearance. This is a late spring bloomer that adds just the right splash of color.

This Hosta started as a seedling from the usually sterile ‘Pineapple Upsidedown Cake’. Hosta ‘Curly Fries’ emerges with exceptionally long, narrow, chartreuse leaves in the spring then quickly brightens to gold and finally turns creamy yellow by late summer. Superb resilience gives this plant unheard of durability among small hostas. Lavender flowers in mid-summer accompany the stunning foliage.
